DESCRIPTION:Please join us for the opening of our newest art exhibition. This show features a sample of work by members of the Northwest Watercolor Society. Watercolor painting is one of the oldest and more traditional art mediums. Fine art pure pigments are suspended in water\, which gives way to a transparent or luminous effect. These artists demonstrate the range of different techniques and approaches to using this water based paint\, from a wet on wet effect with bleeds and abstracted imagery to detailed more condensed results.  Enjoy a selection of hors d’oeuvres and refreshments as you view this collection.
