DESCRIPTION:Please join Murano Senior Living and ComForCare Home Care in welcoming filmmaker Eric Gordon to Seattle for a screening of his award winning documentary film “When All That’s Left is Love”.  This important and poignant film has been screened over 100 times both domestically and internationally\, winning over 70 awards throughout the world.  After the screening\, there will be a panel discussion including Eric and area professionals working in the area of dementia\, as well as refreshments provided by the Murano.  Also in attendance will be Eric’s mother\, a central figure in the film as the caregiver for Eric’s father.  Experts in the field and representatives of area dementia resources will be present as well.  All are invited\, whether involved in the industry or people who have been personally affected by this disease.   \nWhen All That’s Left is Love is the emotionally gripping story of a wife’s determination to care for her Alzheimer’s stricken husband in their home. With unprecedented\, behind-the-scenes access\, the film reveals the toll that the disease takes on families coping with Alzheimer’s\, while also showcasing the power of love that sustains both patients and caregivers.
