Learn about the history of banned books and current challenges in the United States. What does banning literature mean from a human rights perspective?
Dr. Richard Middleton-Kaplan (he/him) is the former dean of arts and sciences at Walla Walla Community College. In 2011, Richard spent a sabbatical at the Centre for Applied Human Rights at University of York, helping develop a course on literature and human rights.
