Basics of Food Fermentation at the Renton Highlands Library

Learn about the basics of food fermentation including brine fermenting veggies, how to make kefir (a fermented milk food similar to liquid yogurt), and two different vegetable ferments – a “mixed crock” of vegetable pickles and sauerkraut. Handouts with basic instructions for all ferments prepared will be available in addition to kefir grains.
