Beautiful Iris: A Kibei Woman’s Story at the Burien Library

Seattle writer Mayumi Tsutakawa will discuss her mother Ayame’s life from Los Angeles to Japan and back to the U.S. where she was incarcerated during WWII. 
Finally settling in Seattle, she was a dance performer, flower arrangement expert and integral part of the cultural community with her husband, the artist George Tsutakawa.
