Join Burien Library to launch the all-new Summer Reading Program, Curious Creatures!
Burien Library is hosting a fun-filled launch party to celebrate the start of Summer Reading. This summer, celebrate the curiosity of learning with a reading challenge—complete your reading goals to win exciting prizes and enjoy special events at your local library all summer long.
Readers can sign up for Summer Reading and join activities featuring:
A cookie painting station to unleash your creativity
A photo booth to capture your Curious Creature spirit
A spin-the-wheel game for a chance to win awesome prizes
A clay-making station where you can make your mini curious creature
Brain teaser games and interactive fun with Para Los Niños
And even more hands-on crafts and surprises throughout the day!
All Summer Reading participants will receive a limited-edition Curious Creature Welcome Kit*, sponsored by the King County Library System Foundation. The kit includes:
A free book to keep and spark your imagination
A Red Robin Burgers for Books coupon
And more surprises!
Plus, readers who complete their summer reading goal will be entered to win one of 50 Kobo Clara Color eReaders, sponsored by Rakuten Kobo.
