The Art, Science, & Magic of Propagation

Discover how you can turn one plant into many! Master Gardener Gordon Polson will lead you through practical ways to propagate plants including seeds, cuttings, rooting hormones, growing media, grafting, and how to successfully grow your new plants. He’ll also demonstrate how to make a Forsyth pot. Whether you’re new to propagation or already have a windowsill full of experiments, come learn how surprisingly simple, inexpensive, and rewarding growing more plants can be.
Gardeners of all skill levels welcome.
Gordon Polson has been gardening since he was eight. He has been a Master Gardener since 2008 and has served as a docent at Bellevue Botanical Garden since 2022.

This garden series meets the first Monday of each month October through May at the Newport way Library.
Hill ‘N Dale Garden Club meets from 4-5pm following the presentation. The lecture and club meetings are open to all.
