One Bellevue One Book: Kathak Dance with Leela Kathak

Join the Leela Kathak Dancers for an introduction to the history and development of Kathak, a classical dance of northern India, followed by a live dance performance with musical accompaniment.

The dancers will perform “Kathak from Didi’s Garden.” Didi Urmila Nagar has visited for more than 30 years to work in the Kathak garden she has planted in the northwest. The Leela Kathak Dancers are honored to share this bounty.

Registration not required.

All ages welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
