Produced in association with Theatre Off Jackson, Nanay runs October 30, 2026 to November 14, 2026, on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays at 7:30 pm and two Sundays at 2 pm (plus an Industry Night on Monday, November 9). All performances will be at the Theatre Off Jackson (409 7th Ave. S.) in Seattle’s International District.
Angela arrives to congratulate her twin sister on her new baby, but instead finds Eve “coexisting” with a Filipino demon infamous for their hunger of all things fetus. Does Angela believe Eve’s claims that all is well with her new relationship? Nanay, a new play by Molly Olis Krost, incorporates Filipino mythology and tradition to explore our pre-colonial relationship with sister-hood, loss, and mothering.
