For tweens, teens and adults. Create Perler Bead projects to take home. We provide patterns and ideas, or you can design your own from scratch.  Registration not required.

For adults and teens. DNA testing has become affordable for millions of people and is now an essential tool for anyone tracing their family history. Join professional genealogist, Claudia Breland, to learn how to interpret your ethnicity results, sort your DNA cousins into “networks” and contact relatives. Registration not required.

For children, teens and adults. Come to the Makerspace for Valentine’s Day (and Anti-Valentine’s Day) crafts. Whether you love or hate V-Day, we’ve got you covered! Registration not required. 

For adults. Create your own design and a sublimation printed mug to take home.  Please register at kcls.org.

All ages welcome. Bring your instrument, your voice or join the audience and experience a jazz jam session, featuring students from the Federal Way Public Schools (FWPS).  This free-flow session will give musicians a chance to develop their talent and improvisational skills. Registration not required. 

For older adults. Tinker around with electronics, crafts, puzzles and more in the Federal Way Makerspace. This opportunity is tailor-made for seniors who are eager to learn at a variety of levels.  Registration not required.

For adults. Create a masterpiece on the first Tuesday of the Month in the Makerspace! This month, create paper quilled earrings with local artist, Amaranta Ibarra-Sandys, owner of Art Maranth mobile art classes. Please register at kcls.org. 

For teens and adults. Gather as a community to work on your costume/cosplay/faire/con creations.
